Adelaide Casino celebrates 25th aniversary
One of South Australia’s most iconic and well-known attractions, Adelaide Casino, will celebrate its 25th Anniversary on Sunday 12 December.
To commemorate the milestone, Adelaide Casino General Manager David Christian will cut one of the largest cakes Adelaide has ever seen. Customers will be able to enjoy a complimentary slice of cake on the day, as well as a variety of promotions and special deals throughout the month of December. A VIP black-tie dinner will also be held in December to mark the historic occasion.
Situated in the Adelaide Railway Station building, the Adelaide Casino’s heritage charm is evident through its stunning architecture and historic features, which are complemented by a modern fit out and the latest in entertainment.
Adelaide Casino features 90 table games and more than 950 gaming machines, from classic favouritessuch as Blackjack, Baccarat and Poker, through to the latest and greatest electronic gaming machines with exclusive jackpots.
Known just as widely for its nine restaurants and bars and vibrant nightlife, Adelaide Casino proudly lives up to its reputation as the hub of entertainment, supporting local bands and talent, as well as interstate and international acts.
Above and beyond its reputation as one of Adelaide’s top entertainment spots, Adelaide Casino contributes significantly to the South Australian community through the employment of more than 1,000 South Australians, the use of local produce and suppliers, via taxes, as well as by investment in sponsorships and support of local charities.
Adelaide Casino conducts an industry-leading Host Responsibility service, with dedicated staff connecting customers to independent third party support services in order to assist in minimising the likelihood of harm from gambling or alcohol related issues.
The Adelaide Casino opened its doors in the historic Railway Station building in 1985. In 2000, the SKYCITY Entertainment Group bought Adelaide Casino and it is now South Australia’s tenth largest employer with 1100 staff, injecting more than $40 million into the state each year.
