South Australian business confidence on the rise Back

The results from the Survey of Salaries conducted by AME Recruitment for South Australia are in, with some surprising and positive results for the future of businesses in the state.
The results indicated an increase in business activity for 2010, with more than half of the respondents reporting a growth forecast for 2011.
For 58% of respondents business activity is on this rise
Increased business activity has led to increased staffing levels, with 45% of respondents reporting a rise in casual workers moving into permanent part time employment.
4% will be the most common increase in salaries, with the highest individual increases between 10-15% for the lucky few.
Survey results indicate that half of the Graduate recruitment has already been done for 2011, with recruiting numbers remaining the same as last year.
Training and development remains an important focus for businesses, as is providing the option for employees to study to increase their skills.
