Shopping tours showcase another side of the hills Back
06 February 2012
Native Valley resident Evette Franklin is offering people a ‘unique and boutique’ shopping experience with specially tailored bus tours of the Adelaide Hills.
The tour aims to showcase the magnificence of the Hills and its many offerings in fashion, art, homewares, food and wine.
Evette developed the idea after moving to the Hills and deciding she wanted to work amongst its beautiful surroundings.
“I moved up here nine years ago and looked around the area and realised instead of driving down the freeway everyday to work, I could do something here,” she said.
“I decided I wanted to showcase the Adelaide Hills and everything it has to offer.” “I want to introduce people to some of those wonderful out of the way places and little hidden secrets.”
The tour is a full day shopping experience through the best of the Hills, visiting a range of boutique stores, restaurants, galleries and wineries.
