SCF Group trials world-first container Back

SA-based manufacturer, SCF Group has announced it will partner with Toll Holdings to trial a world-first 40 foot side-door transport container.
The container’s design was finalised after five years of trial and error research and is predicted to save transport companies up to $3000 in yearly repairs.
Using durable bi-fold doors, the design enables freight to be easily loaded and accessed along the entire length of the container.
Toll Holdings will test the design over the next month on Adelaide to Perth and Melbourne to Brisbane routes, with SCF Group preparing to build another 28 units by January.
