Innovate SA budget confirmed to 2012 Back
20 September 2010
In the wake of State Government Budget media coverage, the chief executive of innovation support organisation Innovate SA has reaffirmed the organisation's on-going support into 2012.
"Yesterday the 2010-11 State Budget papers confirmed Government’s original commitment to a three-year funding agreement with Innovate SA," says Innovate SA Chief Executive, Greg Boundy.
"After the recent media speculation, this is welcome news for Innovate SA and the hundreds of South Australian CEOs and entrepreneurial businesses that we work with.
"I wish to reassure you that the entire Innovate SA team remains very committed to high impact South Australian business building and to delivering our unique entrepreneurial skills development programs and services.
"Whilst our funding beyond 2012 is uncertain, we will be working hard to secure our ongoing future.
"We have recently compiled an overview of our first year achievements and are pleased to share some key highlights below. In coming weeks a more comprehensive report will be made available."
