Australian International 3 Day Event has signed an exclusive gold sponsorship agreement with professional services firm Deloitte.

“We are absolutely delighted that Deloitte has come on board as a major sponsor of the AI3DE," says AI3DE Director, Gillian Rolton.

"Without the backing of Deloitte and our other valued sponsors the event surely would have been lost to another State."

Gillian says while further sponsorship funding is still needed to keep the event viable she is confident more sponsors will get on board.

“Our long term partnership with Deloitte will enable the AI3DE to keep developing a world-class event hosted in Adelaide,” Gillian says.

Deloitte South Australia Managing Partner, Rob DiMonte says the AI3DE has developed into a major event on the SA calendar, attracting riders and visitors from all over Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

“Our partnership with the AI3DE and support for this event is an investment in our State that will ensure this world-class event stays in Adelaide into the future and demonstrates the strong alignment between Deloitte and our long term strategy to engage with South Australian families and the business community,” Rob says.

The annual event covers three disciplines over three days - dressage, cross country and show jumping - and is unique in the world, being the only equestrian event staged in the heart of a bustling city centre, taking place in the Adelaide Parklands.

To be held from 12-14 November, the AI3DE is Australia’s premier equestrian event and one of only six of its kind in the world and the only one in the Southern hemisphere.

For the past ten years, Adelaide has been the chosen host city of this hallmark equestrian event.

The AI3DE proudly takes its place alongside the other great international four-star events, the Rolex Kentucky 3 Day Event in the United States, Burghley Horse Trials and Badminton Horse Trials England, Luhmuhlen in Germany and Pau in France.

Deloitte in South Australia employs more than 350 people, providing audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services to publicly listed companies, private companies and Government.
