New phone system improves disaster communications

A new mobile system that substantially improves communications in disasters like the recent floods in the eastern States was unveiled on Thursday, 27 January by Flinders University researcher, Dr Paul Gardner-Stephen.

New Board appointments at Water Industry Alliance

The Water Industry Alliance (WIA) has announced key appointments to its Board. Company director Tim Waterhouse has been elected Chair of the WIA while Minter Ellison Partner Judith Bradsen takes on the position of Deputy Chair. “We are entering a new and exciting era for the WIA,” Chief Executive Officer Joe Flynn said.
