The Can:Do Group is the umbrella organisation overseeing the operation of South Australia’s two oldest charities; Can:Do 4Kids and Deaf Can:Do. Along with this the Group also operates business ventures, such as Can:Do Hearing and Townsend Park, that raise valuable funds to support the vital services offered to the community. Deaf Can:Do- The Royal South Australian Deaf Society, is pivotal in providing a range of services to the South Australian adult Deaf and hard of hearing community. CanTeen’s mission is to support, develop and empower young people living with cancer. We do this by providing an Australia-wide peer support network for 12 to 24 year-olds who include*: • Patients - young people who have been diagnosed with cancer • Siblings & Offspring - young people who have an immediate family member (brother, sister, parent or primary carer) who has been diagnosed with cancer • Bereaved Siblings & Offspring - young people who have had an immediate family member die from cancer. We provide Members with a place where they can simply be young people, away from the day-to-day pressures that come from living with cancer in the hospital or at home. We offer a huge range of programs and services where they can meet other young people and share experiences, learn from others, make great friends and have some fun in the process! *Young people who don’t quite fit these descriptions might still be able to join - please contact us for more information. CFS Foundation

Our vision is to honour, support and care for CFS volunteers. To assist in their relief of suffering, disability, distress or misfortune resulting from their community service activities. The major objective of the Foundation is to provide financial assistance to the CFS volunteer and their families when they suffer through death, injury, loss or damage of property while in the line of service. When the general public are running away from an emergency or disaster the 14,500+ volunteers are running towards the incident. Annually these highly trained CFS volunteers located within every South Australian community are providing in excess of 400,000 hour of service. MORE
