Advantage SA, formerly SA Great, has announced the 2010 date for the gala evening that celebrates the best of South Australia, the Advantage SA Annual Dinner.

The event will take place on Friday 12 November 2010 at the newly redeveloped Adelaide Entertainment Centre.  

Advantage SA CEO Nikki Seymour-Smith encouraged South Australians to put the date of the 2010 Advantage SA Annual dinner firmly in their diaries.  
 
“The Annual Dinner is a highly-anticipated event on Adelaide’s social calendar. A glamorous evening that showcases all things South Australian, from our greatest talents to the best food and wine,” Ms Seymour-Smith said.  

Advantage SA has partnered once again with premium winemaker Grant Burge as the evening’s major sponsor.

“We are again delighted to be amongst esteemed company in supporting Advantage SA’s Annual Dinner. Grant Burge Wines has a long and proud history in South Australia, and to showcase our wines to our peers gives Helen and me great pleasure,” Grant Burge said.  

“We look forward to another spectacular evening, celebrating and acknowledging the best of our State.”

Ms Seymour-Smith said that preparations for the Advantage SA Annual Dinner are in full swing, with the event now six months away.

“There are already some exciting plans in place. More details will be announced closer to the event, watch this space. Guests will not be disappointed; it’s going to be a fantastic evening.”

“Last year the event sold out, so I encourage South Australians to save the date so not to miss out on South Australia’s night of nights.”  

The event will also announce the South Australian of the Year Award and the Young South Australian of the Year Award winners for 2010.

Ms Seymour-Smith said that combining the Annual Dinner with the South Australian of the Year Awards provides the perfect forum to celebrate South Australian successes.  

“The Annual Dinner provides the ideal opportunity to celebrate all things South Australian, including those who have made a significant contribution to our State, such as our 2009 winner the inspirational Dr Bill Griggs.”  

In 2009, 650 proud South Australians attended the sold out Advantage SA Annual Dinner at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre celebrating the State in style. The 2010 event is certainly one not to be missed and numbers are limited.
