11th annual Regional Awards: Less than a month left to nominate
18 May 2010
To date, Advantage SA has received 400 nominations for the 2010 Regional Awards.
Advantage SA CEO Nikki Seymour-Smith urged South Australians to continue to support regional South Australia and nominate for the Regional Awards.
“We’ve been encouraged by the support we’ve received thus far for the Regional Awards. But we want South Australians to continue nominating as we are certain that there are many exceptional individuals, groups and businesses in regional South Australia whose efforts are not yet being recognised,” Nikki said.
“Nominating a business, individual, group or project in the Advantage SA Regional Awards ensures that those who are dedicated to promoting pride and development in our regional areas are being recognised for their success and contribution to both their region and the State.”
“For the first time in awards history, nominees can also nominate for the 2010 South Australian of the Year Awards, adding a new dimension to the Regional Awards program.”
“Last year we received 726 nominations for the Awards. I urge South Australians to keep nominating regional success stories so that we can increase this number in 2010. Be quick, nominations close on Friday 4 June.”
2010 winners will be announced at the Advantage SA Regional Awards ceremonies held annually in seven different regions across country South Australia.
