Advantage SA hosts more than 80 events each year which provide key networking opportunities whilst showcasing exclusive settings, experiences and high calibre speakers relevant to the South Australian corporate community.
There are eleven event types, all offering unique experiences and networking opportunities.
Foundation Exclusive
Elite events for Advantage SA’s top-level members, which combine rare money-can’t-buy experiences with networking opportunities to connect with industry leaders. Have the opportunity to hear directly from a Federal Politician or attend the Royal Adelaide Wine Show launch. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners and Foundation members.

This series of media training sessions is available to you at no extra cost. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners, Foundation members and Major Corporate members. Receive individually crafted training on how to deal with a media crisis or learn how to speak publicly in front of an audience.
Around Our State Tours
Gain direct insight to leading initiatives in South Australian industries with a one or two day itinerary of exclusive behind-the-scenes site visits and briefings by government, community and business leaders throughout regional and metropolitan South Australia. Discover how your business can directly benefit from the prosperous Mining, Defence and Manufacturing sectors in South Australia. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners and Foundation members. Major Corporate members are able to attend two tours per year and Corporate members are able to attend one tour per year.
Industry Briefing
Hear firsthand from Government Ministers of industry and leading stakeholders about the future of industry and key initiatives in South Australia. These insightful behind-the-scenes briefings will give you the opportunity to connect with other guests and gain insight to the amazing achievements that happen in South Australia. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners, Foundation, Major Corporate and Corporate members.
Bendigo Bank Straight Talking
Advantage SA invites members to hear from leading professionals about their experiences and achievements. Hosted by Rigoni’s this intimate luncheon is paired with fine South Australian wines and is a truly gourmet experience. Previous speakers include the Commissioner of Police and CEO of the State Theatre Company. You will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business around the table and walk away with some amazing connections. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners, Foundation, Major Corporate and Corporate members.
Meet the Media
Advantage SA’s media partners host behind-the-scene tours of their premises, enabling members to meet with media identities and industry figures. A great opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes at venues such as the Channel 7 studios or DMG Radio. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners, Foundation, Major Corporate and Corporate members.
Member Exclusive
These intimate events are exclusive to all Advantage SA members showcasing a range of South Australia’s finest industries, business leaders and produce. They range from lobster cooking classes with Ferguson Australia, tickets to key sporting events, a preview screening at Gold Class or the latest State Theatre Company production. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners and all members.
Professional Development and Training
A great opportunity to up skill your staff at no extra cost in areas such as how to network, leadership, social media and first aid. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners and all members.
Talk SA
Held four times a year, these events are hosted for Advantage SA members across all levels and industries, enabling them to connect with corporate Adelaide on a broader scale while hearing from business leaders and champions of industry. These events are open to all Advantage SA Partners and all members.
Advantage SA New Member
These events are held quarterly to give new members an opportunity to discover all that Advantage SA has to offer and meet other members. These events are also open to new staff at existing member organisations as well as potential members.

Activating Adelaide
Do you have staff working in an office in Sydney or Melbourne who would be interested in hearing about South Australia and networking with like-minded people? These events aim to educate and inform guests on current developments and opportunities offered in South Australia while showcasing some of South Australia’s finest talent and produce.
Regional Awards Presentation Evenings
Advantage SA hosts presentation evenings across seven regions, enabling the South Australian community to honour those who have contributed to the pride and development of the States’ regional areas. A fantastic way to connect with innovative regional businesses, community groups and individuals.
Speakers in Schools
The Advantage SA Speakers in Schools program connects students with a successful, young professionals, who provide first-hand advice regarding the benefits of building a career right here in South Australia. With over 500 speakers from a variety of industries, teachers can select from a pool of speakers to present in classrooms, assemblies, graduation ceremonies and career expos, all at no limit and no cost! As a speaker you are able to attend four professional development events per year. As a parent, teacher or interested Advantage SA member you are able to attend four information evenings relating to student development.
Who is the event suited to
To help you decide who in your organisation will benefit the most from an event, they are categorised into seniority level. Events are split into Entry Level, Middle Management and High Level Executive. Advantage SA reserves the right to check registrations with their member companies.
